Germany-wide interference in cell phone networks repaired
No more connection: in Germany complaints about failures in telephone connections increased.

The massive outages have made it difficult for O2 customers to make calls. Now the provider reports that the problems have been resolved.
Complaints had accumulated throughout Germany that all mobile phone providers suffered interruptions when making calls. The portal “all the faults” indicated that reports at O2, Vodafone and Telekom were equally affected. O2 turned out to be the cause, because all the outages were related to Telefonica’s network.
O2 names faulty server as the cause
Meanwhile, the network outage has been resolved, O2 announced. “The telephony outage on our network has been fully resolved. Our customers have been able to make full calls since last night. After a voice server failure, our technical experts took immediate action and the network it worked again.” no time was successfully stabilized. Emergency numbers failure
Police and fire control centers were also affected by the problems.
