After releasing wireless versions of its popular M4, M42, and MZ1 mice last year, Xtrfy is now introducing an all-new mouse, expected to launch in November. The M8 Wireless is Xtrfy’s first ultralight mouse with a solid body and, at 55 grams, the lightest mouse yet. Aside from upgraded components for higher performance, the biggest change is the unique and innovative mouse shape with a button height of just 4 millimeters at the front.
“We are proud and excited to introduce the wireless M8 and bring something new to the scene. With its ultra-flat front, the M8 is not your standard symmetrical mouse. Based on the theory that a flat button height increases control and precision, we created a design that we haven’t seen on any other gaming mouse,” says Erik Jensen, CTO of Xtrfy.
Xtrfy was born out of esports and that’s the focus of the M8’s development, with a new design, best-in-class sensor from Pixart (3395), 1ms wireless connectivity and up to 75 hours of battery life.
“Since day one, Xtrfy has worked with professional gamers to develop the tools they need and bring them the best. And in 2022 we are investing in several new partnerships with top teams and players. The wireless M8 is optimized for esports: an extremely lightweight mouse with no pinholes, a symmetrical form factor, and a revolutionary button layout for more precise grip,” says Joakim Jansson, CEO of Xtrfy.
The wireless M8 is available in no less than 5 editions, including Frosty Mint, Frosty Purple, White, Black and Xtrfy’s popular retro color scheme, which returns in the M8 series.
