Windows 11: This tool overrides many system requirements

Date:

With Windows 11, Microsoft has breathed new life into its operating system and released powerful features. However, in order to enjoy it, PC users have to meet many more requirements than previous versions of the software. For example, Windows 11 cannot be installed on computers with older processors, too little RAM, or too small hard drives. There are a number of tricks you can use to bypass Microsoft’s controls and get system software to run on older PCs, but they’re not particularly convenient. Now there is a free tool that will make your life much easier in this matter.

The open source program “rufoushas been opening up the ability to quickly create bootable Windows installation files on USB sticks for years. Now the beta version of a new version has been released that addresses the problem of Windows 11. As the website says Ars Technica reported, various system requirements can now be easily removed via Rufus. In this way, you avoid the requirement that your computer must have a Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0), at least 4 gigabytes of RAM, or 64 gigabytes of internal memory. You can also disable diagnostic data collection by default.

Install Windows 11 without a Microsoft account

With Rufus, you can also forget about the need for a Microsoft account. However, your computer should not be connected to the Internet during the installation and setup of Windows 11. At this point, the procedure is similar to the well-known tricks to bypass the system requirements. With Rufus, however, you are spared manual editing of registry entries and other intermediate steps.

However, it is not known to what extent a version of Windows 11 installed in this way will remain permanently and fully functional. Microsoft is not currently blocking system requirements from being skipped. However, it could be that the manufacturer blocks unauthorized computer updates in the future. Also, as early as spring 2022, the company started displaying warnings when Windows 11 was running on unsupported hardware.
