With the latest insider information there were already some assumptions that this is the final version. But according to our new information, Microsoft wants to reach RTM status by the end of May. Although RTM (Release To Manufacture) is the wrong term, but it is still common for a final version of the operating system.

This means that starting in June we will only receive updates in the beta and preview channel and even “experimental” users will also be able to upgrade to Windows 11 22H2 without being kicked in and will only receive updates. Until then, we will continue to release new internal builds with individual fixes and improvements. of new features obtain.

And as things currently stand, those running Windows 11 on unsupported hardware need not worry. Nothing was changed or reinforced, as some had already suspected. There’s still a chance Windows 11 without TPM and Secureboot to install or update.

So this version would be the “original version” that you already know from our ISOs, which is then only fed with updates.

Of course, it will still be a while before Microsoft officially introduces Windows 11 22H2. Only then will this version be offered to everyone in waves via Windows Update. And it’s still not 100% sure if the tabs in File Explorer will come too. But he is working on it and it can also be sent later.
