It’s colder outside and heating costs go up. Many people, therefore, are looking for an alternative to be able to heat themselves without using fossil fuels. The number of heat pumps that are installed in Germany each year has increased continuously in recent years. And especially in the current situation, many owners are thinking about buying such a pump.
In order to clarify the most important questions about heat pumps, we spoke to three experts for our Handelsblatt Live Plus video format this week: Alexander Schuh, director of partnership management at heat pump manufacturer Vaillant, Natalie Eßig, expert from the Munich University of Applied Technology Sciences in the field of building climate, and Ramona Mittag, energy expert at the North Rhine-Westphalia consumer advisory center.
