WhatsApp will be suspended as of November 1 on some Android, iOS, and KaiOS phones running earlier versions of the operating system. They will have to buy a new phone if they want to get WhatsApp services. Users can backup their chats before buying a new phone.
The WhatsApp messaging application does not work on phones with Android 4.0.4, earlier versions. WhatsApp will no longer be available from November 1 on Samsung Galaxy SII, Galaxy S3 Mini, Optimus L5 Dual, Optimus L4 II Dual, Optimus F7, Optimus F5 phones. IOS is important to update WhatsApp. Any iPhone that runs on operating systems prior to iOS 10 will not work as of November 1. WhatsApp does not work on iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, Apple iPhone SE phones. WhatsApp only works on phones with KaiOS 2.5.0 and later versions. WhatsApp continues on both Geophone and Geophone 2.
