Wasteland 3 When it comes to player agencies, a good role-playing game with a very long leash, but limited by the strength of the team. Example: Approximately 30 minutes after the game starts, you may try to kill him when you first meet the Patriarch of the Colorado, the Patriarch. Just check if that is possible.. The Patriarch puts a great deal of emphasis on the story, and he is the one who cooks the main story quest of rolling a ball in Wasteland 3.
But uh, why don’t you kill him anyway? Certainly not. For one, the small team at the start of the game can’t afford the opportunity to fight him and his allies. Second, it will probably break the game. Third, and related to the first point: it is impossible unless you are fooling around.
But what if you cheat and kill the Patriarch the moment you meet him? This happens:
We do not tolerate cheating, but if there is a *cough* that can somehow kill the Patriarch at the beginning of the game, there is a special ending. Here is a snippet. pic.twitter.com/XZDQNLwPnbAugust 31, 2020
That’s nice! If RPG takes into account player actions that can only be achieved through cheating, it shows dedication to the part of studio in Xile.
At least one person found it online. Nick McCormick (aka AzukiI tweeted the official Wasteland account a few days ago with his findings, revealing how it was accomplished.
You literally need to cheat. He edits the AP in hex so he doesn’t reduce or edit HP and then throws a flag at him. Then you have to do the same for all guards. Without cheat, it’s impossible. That’s why slides and songs call you a cheater.August 30, 2020
