Truecaller has released new updates for Android and iOS users.
Truecaller, a popular caller ID application, has received a number of new features on both Android and iOS platforms. Call Reason is one of the main highlights of the new Truecaller app update. As the name implies, this feature allows the user to set the reason for the call. In this way, if Truecaller is installed, recipients will be notified if the call is personal, business, or urgent. The company claims that “this will increase the pick-up rate, especially if the caller is calling from a new number.”
Another interesting feature is the new “SMS Schedule” feature. If you are using Truecaller as your default messaging app, you will be able to schedule text messages. That is, text messages are only delivered as desired. An example of using this feature is a grocery message reminder that you should receive at the end of an event, meeting, or day.
Finally, the new update also introduces an SMS translation feature that allows users to translate message content directly with Truecaller without leaving the app. This feature works with both SMS and instant messaging (IM). All of these features are free for all consumers.
