Officials from various agencies in charge of security in the municipalities of Zamora (Guatire) and Plaza (Guarenas) received an endowment of equipment, uniforms and food from the Government of Miranda state and the mayors of both localities.
The benefited uniformed men are assigned to Poliplaza; Polizamora; Civil Protection Miranda, Zamora and Plaza; Firefighters of Miranda and Zamora; Come 911 Service; Bolivarian National Police (PNB); the Special Actions Forces (Faes), the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) and the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).
The Secretary of Government of the Government of Miranda, Lenin Sosa; the Secretary of Citizen Security and Peace, José Luis García Pinto and the mayors of Zamora and Plaza, Hugo Martínez and Luis Figueroa, respectively, in addition to the supervisors and directors of the different citizen Security Forces, were present in this activity carried out in the headquarters of the State Fire Department located in Guatire.
Mayor Martínez recognized the work of the officials who, despite the pandemic, achieved a 40% reduction in crimes in the Guatire and Bolívar parishes.
He reported that in the first quarter of this year, the Ministry of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace will deliver 30 motorcycles and weapons to the Peace Quadrants.
Martínez asserted that for this year the municipal police has 640 officers with the incorporation of 240 students, thus exceeding the proposed goal of 600 officers for the security of the jurisdiction.
