Two armed criminals were arrested this Friday, accused of steal more than 40 cell phones from a business premises and hitting the owner on the head, police sources reported.
Police station 1st. from Lomas de zamora They were walking through the downtown area of that town when they noticed suspicious movements inside a cell phone repair shop, located on the corner of Avenida Hipólito Yrigoyen and Laprida.
When the agents approached, they surprised two thieves who were assaulting the premises and when they saw the police they ran away.
One of the criminals, 25 years old, was apprehended a few meters away. I was carrying a bag with 44 cell phones stolen from the premises. He also had in his possession a short .22 caliber Italo Gra revolver, with the suppressed numbering, five projectiles and a manned sheath, elements that were kidnapped.
His 19-year-old accomplice was detained a few meters away by personnel from the Local Prevention Police Unit (UPPL) of Lomas de Zamora, who had already been alerted. He was carrying cash, a long .22-caliber Beretta pistol, also with the numbering removed and with three intact shells in the magazine.
After the apprehensions, the police officers interviewed the 55-year-old owner of the business, who presented a cut on the scalp as a result of a recoil from one of the thieves.
The prosecutor intervenes in the case Gerardo Loureyro, in charge of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 3 of the Lomas de Zamora Judicial Department, which will investigate the suspects in the next few hours.
