Seoul, November 21st (Yonhap News Agency)-Korean game developers and publishers are unveiling the latest titles featuring cutting-edge graphics and technology at an ongoing game expo.
This year’s G-Star Global Game Exhibition does not operate an offline booth due to concerns about the occurrence of COVID-19. Fans are required to attend the event from Thursday to Sunday through the online streaming platform Twitch.
Game developer WeMadeCo. Exhibited the first massively multiplayer online role-playing (MMORPG) Mir4 for mobile platforms. The game will be co-published by Kakao Games.
A sequel to the popular Mir series, Mir 4 features 3D graphics, giving players an unprecedented level of freedom of movement compared to their predecessors.
Meanwhile, online game company Krafton Inc. will be exhibiting its MMORPG title “Elyon” that day. The game will be published by Kakao Games.
“Elyon” is Kakao Games’ first PCMMORPG and the latest release of Krafton following the worldwide hit shooter “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds”.
Details of upcoming titles “Kurtz Pel” and “KonoSuba” from game giant Nexon will also be released over the weekend, according to the event organizers.
