FROM ELECTRONICS TO CARS – The Hon Hai Technology Group, known as Foxconn, a Taiwanese company specializing in consumer electronics (known for assembling iPhones on behalf of Apple), at a dedicated event presented three electric models independently developed: the Model C SUV, the Model E sedan and the Model T bus. The announcement came during the Hon Hai Tech Day 2021 event. Terry Gou, founder of Hon Hai, believes that leveraging the strong manufacturing capabilities of electronics, including semiconductors, modules, precision machinery and operation, the Taiwanese company can play a key role in the development of electric vehicles.
A HOME MADE PLATFORM – The three vehicles presented were designed in the modular platform Hon Hai open platform, created by Foxtron, the joint venture between Hon Hai and Taiwanese auto company Yulon Motor, and will be marketed under the Foxtron brand.

MODEL C – The Model C it is characterized by a minimalist design. Measuring 464cm long, with a 286cm wheelbase, it offers comfortable seating for 5 + 2 people and plenty of interior space, making it easy to navigate busy metropolitan areas while enjoying the comforts of a larger car. The Model C, with a low drag coefficient of 0.27, accelerates from 0 to 100 km in 3.8 seconds and guarantees a range of 700 km.
THE E MODEL – the sedan Role models, Developed jointly by Hon Hai and Pininfarina, it is a premium sedan. The rear space can be transformed into a dedicated mobile office, with personal devices seamlessly connected to the car. It is equipped with a series of intelligent applications, such as door openers with facial recognition, intelligent windows and vehicle-environment interfaces. In addition to luxury and comfort, the Model E can offer a power of 750 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km in 2.8 seconds. The declared autonomy is 750 km.
THE MODEL T BUS – Designed as a smart transportation solution, the model T bus has completed several endurance tests (the battery can withstand temperatures of up to 400 degrees), has a range of more than 400 km and, under full load conditions, is capable of tackling gradients of up to 25% and reaching the maximum speed of 120 km / h.
