Legendary Apple CEO Steve Jobs doesn’t have a resume made up of just tech companies. The famous CEO’s CV also includes names like Pixar and Disney, who later bought Pixar. That is, although we know him with his iPhone, iPad, iPod or Mac models, Jobs also has traces in the world of animation and cinema. Former Disney CEO Bob Iger said: “What would have happened between Apple and Disney if Jobs had lived?” sheds light on the question.
IF STEVE JOBS LIVED, THE INTERVIEWS WOULD START “
According to the PhoneArena news story, former Disney CEO Bob Iger shared an interesting prediction from the past few years. Iger explained that if Steve Jobs, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2011, were alive, Disney and Apple could have started talks that would result in a merger of the two companies.
BOB IGER IS SURE THEY TALK
Iger also admitted that when Jobs was alive, the issue of the merger of the two companies was never raised. Still, the former Disney CEO says he’s confident that if Jobs had lived, they would eventually have talked about a merger.
