Today’s reveal marks the game’s 15th anniversary, as The Witcher first appeared on PC in 2007. Exactly how the remake will elevate the somewhat outdated mechanics from then to a new level is currently unknown.

However, we will also have to be patient until we know more about the game. At the moment, the focus should be on “The Witcher 4”, which is why the remake is still at an extremely early stage of development. So don’t count on it before 2025.
