Telegram: With this trick you can put ‘states’ as in WhatsApp

Date:

Telegram has been one of the instant messaging apps most benefited after the controversial announcement of the change in privacy policies of WhatsApp, because in just a few days, it reached 500 million active users.

At the beginning of January, the famous app owned by Facebook announced that there will be changes in terms and conditions of use and that, by accepting them, you allow the technology to access personal information, which caused annoyance and confusion among users.

This caused a exodus from WhatsApp users towards other apps – more secure, they said – such as Telegram or Signal, which although they are not the only ones that offer the instant messaging service, they are the most popular in the sector.

In the case of Telegram, it managed to position itself as the third most used messaging app in the world, since in addition to allowing to send encrypted messages and do video calls, has other interesting functions such as the messages that are destroyed, the sending of heavy files or even saving files to a personal cloud.

Are there ‘statuses’ or ‘stories’ on Telegram?

If you have already migrated to Telegram, you are in the process of exploring everything in the application; However, some users have asked in social networks or among their contacts if in the Russian messaging application they can put ‘state‘as in WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook.

Unfortunately, Telegram does not have an option to put estates or stories, but it does have an alternative that works almost the same and below we tell you how to use it:

1. Open your Telegram application on iOS or Android

2. In the case of Android, press the three lines and then click on your photo; there you have the option of uploading multiple photos as stories; If you have iPhone, press the bottom button Settings and then select Put new photo or video

3. When your contacts see your profile, they will see that you shared some photos and they can see them as if they were ‘stories’

4. These photos or videos are not deleted automatically; if you want to delete them, go to the image in question and click delete
