Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Next DLC Character-Steve Mine Craft -Will be released next week, but the Xbox-owned character isn’t the last character to appear on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite platform fighters. There are still some characters in the game, but for now, no one but Nintendo knows who these characters are. And given that Steve will only release next week, you may not be able to hear about another DLC character until the Game Awards 2020 in December, or until next year.
Whenever I hear about the next DLC character in the game, I know it’s not one rumored character. Specifically, it turns out not to be Travis Touchdown. No More Heroes fame. How do you know this? This traditionally means that the character is ineligible for DLC spots, as the character will appear in the game as a Mii costume with Steve.
Of course, Travis Touchdown has fans, but he’s certainly not very symbolic or mainstream. That means he wasn’t running in the first place. Normally, when Nintendo calls a character that doesn’t belong to it, it gets bigger.
That said, Travis Touchdown isn’t currently running, but there are still plenty of rumored characters such as Geno, Sora, Crash Bandicoot, Ryu Hayabusa, Waluigi, Tracer, Dante, Doomguy, Master Chief, and Lloyd. However, just because a character is rumored does not mean that he is participating in the game. In fact, there were rumors here and there that Steve would join the game, but nothing was revealed.
