You should be able to play the game right out of the box, but you probably need to update to this latest version. Our guess is that there are some small bug fixes here and there to slightly improve the overall experience.
In other words, don’t expect this to be patched Super Mario Galaxy 2 -We’re all for that (Nintendo, if you’re reading).
