Sudan’s Security and Defense Council held a meeting Sunday, headed by Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
The city council declared, according to the newspaper, “regrettable” for the events that accompanied the demonstrations.
It ordered the Security and Defense Council to expedite the completion of the investigation and verification procedures and hold those involved in the events accountable, and renewed its confidence in the regular forces.
The Committee of Doctors in Sudan said protesters were killed today, Sunday, in demonstrations in the center of the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.
