A week after the first speculations, the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G was quietly unveiled yesterday afternoon. This is a modified version of the Galaxy A52 5G, which only has two more things compared to the basic version of the phone. The first is a 25W charger, with just a 15W adapter included with the base model. This despite the fact that the maximum charging power of 25 W is the same for both phones.
The second and most significant change is a much more powerful chipset. While the Galaxy A52 5G was powered by an 8nm Snapdragon 750G, the “esk” version is powered by a significantly more powerful and energy efficient 6nm Snapdragon 778G. Storage capacity, RAM, increased IP67 resistance, 90Hz AMOLED display, cameras, and remaining hardware remain the same as the base model. Samsung will pay five hundred more for these two innovations, which seems like a good investment. The benefits of a more powerful chipset should be quite noticeable with your phone.
Editorial introduction of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G:
Czech e-shops have already included the Galaxy A52 5G in their offerings, priced at CZK 11,499 for a 6/128 GB memory variant. The smartphone will be offered in black, green, white, and purple. The phone should appear on store shelves in the Czech Republic in early September.
Original article from August 12:
Samsung will probably bring another new “A” to Europe soon, at least according to the German website WinFuture, the information of which we can consider, immediately after Samsung’s press releases, to be absolutely reliable. Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G will be based on this year’s Galaxy A52 5G (comments here), the main changes will include a more powerful chipset.
The plastic construction, the screen, the higher resistance to IP67 and the color variants should remain the same. Only the chipset used will change, which will be the Snapdragon 778G. And you will benefit from higher phone performance. We expect a 15 percent increase in single-core and multi-core performance, given that the Snapdragon 750G runs the Galaxy A52 5G. Remember that the LTE variant of the phone is based on the even less powerful Snapdragon 720.
In Europe, this new “A” will be offered with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. You can also expand it with microSD cards. Thanks to the new chipset, the used 4,500 mAh battery, which charges with 25 watts, is expected to have a slightly longer endurance on a single charge. According to a German source, the Galaxy A52s should start selling in Europe at the end of August, for € 449. Based on the current exchange rate, it stands at CZK 11,399, which would mean that the novelty will cost only a few hundred crowns more than the 5G variant currently on offer.
