update: Ubisoft has officially announced Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake after the leak this morning.
Released on January 21, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.

According to Ubisoft, this game features a brand new enemy character model as well as a brand new cinematic sequence with enhanced voice, sound, parkour animation and soundtrack. The cameras, controls, and battles have been rebuilt, and you can choose between the original mapping and the latest mapping.
Ubisoft also added that at any time during play, the original Prince of Persia game (’92 Mac version) was unlocked and accessible from the main menu.

The existence of the Prince of Persia remake had already been leaked, but now the courtesy of Uplay in Russia has revealed that the remake is the 2003 platformer The Sands of Time.
