This was determined by the 15th Guarantee Court of Santiago, which determined that the former communal chief, investigated for corruption, is a danger to the security of society and democracy.

Once the court’s resolution is known, the former mayor himself surrendered to the PDI Anti-Corruption Brigade.

It should be remembered that Aguilera did not appear for the formalization that was to be carried out at the beginning of the month, after arguing medical reasons.

Behind this, the municipal elections were repeated in San Ramón, in 65 voting tables of the commune, where the candidate Gustavo Toro finally prevailed.

Nevertheless, Aguilera asked to annul this repetition of elections again, accusing a series of irregularities and the carrying of votes by Toro. Finally, said request was denied.
