Almost two weeks ago, Google released all Pixel smartphones that are still compatible with the android security update for the month of February, including the Pixel 6. That was a minor anomaly, but apparently there were still major issues, because a new version of the February update for Pixel 6 smartphones was suddenly released a few minutes ago.
Every first Monday of every month, Google releases the Android security update, and the next issue is just around the corner in just over two weeks. But before that, it scales with the Pixel 6 and has released a new version of the security update. This is a new build with the number SQ1D.220205.004 instead of the one released this month SQ1D.220205.003. It is not yet known what differences there are and there has been no announcement from Google either.
So far, the new version has not been rolled out via OTA and it is not known if that will be the case. As more information becomes available, this article will be updated.
