TP Vision Europe BV has announced the launch of premium televisions in Europe Philips OLED + 986 and OLED + 936. The two models are manufactured in collaboration with the audio experts at Bowers & Wilkins.
Philips OLED + 986 and OLED + 936 have the best OLED panels available right now. TVs benefit from 20% brighter brightness and a high-performance processing package, the fifth generation of P5 Intelligent Dual Picture Engine processors, raising picture quality to new standards, with better clarity, colors and skin tones more accurate and with better contrast. Dolby Vision content, especially HDR when using “Dolby Bright mode”, takes full advantage of these technologies.

Philips is still one of the few TV manufacturers that supports the major HDR formats. In addition to HLG, HDR10 and HDR10 + support, both OLED + 986 and OLED + 936 now support the HDR10 + adapter that combines dynamic HDR10 + metadata with real-time ambient light information to automatically optimize brightness in any environment and increase detail in dark areas of the image.
The new TVs benefit from Ambilight lighting on all four sides to provide a superior gaming experience. HDMI 2.1 connectivity with VRR, Freesync Premium and G-Sync compatibility offers the best response times ever offered by OLED TVs released in 2021.
Gamers will benefit from the Fast Motion Clarity feature, which offers a realistic transition and higher quality without introducing artifacts and running at 100Hz (50Hz higher than a normal TV).
OLED + 986 and OLED + 936 TV panels are also uniquely protected by the power of the P5 Intelligent Dual Picture Engine processor and its unique anti-burn solution that uses an advanced logo detection feature to monitor a 32,400 zone network. , to detect static content very accurately and gradually reduce the intensity of light to avoid burns, all without compromising the quality of the image displayed on the screen.
Professional calibration is available on 2021 models through Calman Ready, which provides easy access to the automatic color calibration feature, allowing televisions to meet the highest standards.
The new TVs continue to offer the best of European design, with a premium finish using the best quality materials, including Kvadrat cloth, glass and metal with a premium remote control trimmed in Muirhead leather.
Philips OLED + 986 and OLED + 936 TVs have a micro-mesh grille on the front of the speaker box, and the Kvadrat fabric has been moved to the top of the box.
Philips OLED + 936 and OLED + 986 have redesigned and improved Bowers & Wilkins speakers to ensure the highest sound quality available today. Both televisions have an enhanced Dolby Multistream decoder and HDMI eARC for more efficient transfer of audio content.
