Reliance Jio is a renowned telecommunications service provider for providing mobile data even at the lowest rates. In its early days, Geo delighted those who had been craving high-speed internet for months for free by giving them data vouchers and coupons. However, over time, Geo removed several additional data offerings from its various plans.
As such, the last data offering that Geo discontinued was the add-on data benefit that came with the talk-time plans. For those who top up additional talk time with monthly plans, the data provided will no longer be available. In the early 2020s, Geo began offering free data coupons up to 100GB along with talk time plans.
Geo was offering one GB of data for every Rs 10 that users spend on calls outside the network. Geo also offered 100GB of free data along with a Rs 1,000 talk-time plan. If you recharge for Rs 20, you will get two GB of data and with that Rs 20, you can recharge another data voucher through the Geo app.
Geo is discontinuing the benefit that was of great benefit to those who want more data on the phone. The free data vouchers have been suspended since the company began offering unlimited off-network calling. Similarly, the benefits of voice calls will no longer be available on Geo’s 4G data coupons. Previous coupons had received up to 1,000 minutes of geographic and non-geographic voice calls.
