The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh and can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 27 minutes thanks to the 80 W Supervooc fast charging function. Nine temperature sensors monitor the charging process and ensure that the smartphone does not overheat.
In the top configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, the mobile costs 499 euros. The basic equipment with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage should cost 399 euros. The devices will be available in Gray Shadow and Jade Fog colors from May 24.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is the cheaper version of the already available Nord CE 2 5G and is therefore also equipped with simpler components. Instead of the MediaTek MT6877, the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G Mobile. Its eight cores run at 2.2 GHz instead of 2.4 GHz as with the MediaTek MT6877.
On the front of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 120 Hertz refresh rate and LCD technology instead of the Amoled display on the more expensive Nord CE 2 5G.
16 megapixels for selfies
The smartphone comes with a triple camera system on the back with a 64-megapixel main sensor that works in tandem with a 2-megapixel camera for depth-of-field effect shots. On the front is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with electronic image stabilization.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G’s 5,000 mAh battery provides the device with enough power to stream YouTube videos for about 21 hours. The smartphone has a 33W Supervooc charging feature that charges the battery from 0 to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will be available with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage in the colors Black Dusk and Blue Tide from May 24 for 299 euros.
