Microsoft and the company cloud flare, which provides content delivery network (CDN), internet security services, and distributed DNS services, is cooperating and integrating its own VPN service into the Chromium Edge browser. The new feature will be available for testing soon and is limited to 1 GB of traffic per month.
Microsoft Edge secure network uses Cloudflare VPN
As Cloudflare announced in an official press release, the company, together with Microsoft, is integrating the so-called Cloudflare Proxy, a VPN service limited to 1 GB of traffic per month, into the Chromium Edge browser. The service, which is still classified as “Preview,” will soon roll out in waves to Insiders.
Even Microsoft has been announced on the official site support site You already discussed the new feature, which will be called “Microsoft Edge Secure Network.”
Microsoft Edge Secure Network is a service provided in partnership with Cloudflare.
Cloudflare is committed to privacy and only collects a limited amount of diagnostic and support data as a data subprocessor of Microsoft to provide the Services.
Cloudflare permanently deletes support and diagnostic data collected every 25 hours.
