WhatsApp is getting numerous new features that users have been asking for for a long time. A release date has also been set.
Facebook’s Meta group has announced numerous new features for its Whatsapp Messenger that users have been asking for for a long time. The focus here is primarily on privacy and protection of one’s online presence.
Among other things, users can now customize online viewing and leave groups without warning. Also, it is no longer possible to take screenshots on the mobile phone of media that was sent as a single view.
The group has already given a deadline for the release of the features: they will be available worldwide this month.
From now on, a universal message will no longer be sent to chat in groups when a person has left; only the group admin will be notified. In addition to this, users can also decide for themselves who can see whether they are “online” or not. The screen can also be turned off completely if you wish. So far this has not been possible.
