Dr. Ahmed Tobal, advisor to the Minister of Agriculture for digital transformation, said that the program launched yesterday was based on the Egyptian state’s plan to boost the agricultural sector, noting that the program works with artificial intelligence before any query. that the farmer needs if the problem or query is registered in the program and in the event that a new problem appears, the answer will be in two or three days.
Tobal added, to Masrawy, that the application provides the expected climatic conditions for each day and the correct instructions in case of climatic fluctuations, for example, the cultivation method, the correct harvest date and the recommended quality of the pesticides, noting that the application is a good alternative to the farm guide.
The minister’s adviser pointed out that the program is working with more than 50 people, both from the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as two teams, the “implementation team” and the team of specialized experts in charge of complex issues.
In the same context, Dr. Muhammad Al-Qurash, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and supervisor of the digital transformation project, emphasized that the application must register all farmers or producers in the application for free, adding that the application is Easy to use. and it works on all kinds of Android and iOS phones.
Al-Qarsh added to Masrawy that this application aims to create a dialogue based on artificial intelligence through which the farmer requests help, noting that the digital transformation processes in the agricultural sector are in full swing, noting that they have been trained more than 8,000 users. in the Farmer Card system.
