During the weekend, municipal agents carried out an inspection in a municipal structure in via Chevalley 5, called “Archipelago”, normally awarded in concession by District 2 to cultural associations for various uses, including the creation of dance and theater courses. The bombing took place to verify the veracity of a report that had denounced the presence of syringes inside the fence.
For about a year, due to the pandemic and the restrictions dictated by the contagion containment measures, all the activities that were normally carried out in the structure have been suspended, so the property has been closed and not used since the year last.
During the inspection, the ‘civich’ noticed the gate open and, inside the fence, they found a man that he had furnished a corner of the structure with furniture and other objects to create, according to him, a ‘playground for children’.
The forty-six-year-old man of Romanian nationality, a legal resident of a nearby apartment, was referred to the Judicial Authority for invasion of public building (art. 633 and 639 of the CP).
They also took part in the act. District Technical Services for the closing of the door, while the man moved the furniture and all the deposited objects.
