Quoted from Indian express, Thursday (12/16/2021), Instagram doesn’t want to be left behind with other popular apps to be able to post 60-second video stories.
During this time, video stories longer than 15 seconds were automatically divided into contiguous stories. Instagram now allows videos of up to a full minute to be uploaded to Stories as a single file.

As stated by Twitter user Matt Navarra (@MattNavarra), Instagram is currently testing some users to be able to access the new feature.
This step is an update of Instagram which focuses more on video than images, such as the addition of the popular ‘Reel’ feature.
In addition to adding 60 seconds of video length, Instagram has also added a reel visual reply feature that allows anyone to reply to comments on their reel with another reel.

The platform also uses a new interface when creating stories for posting. This new interface makes adding items like locations or labels to other accounts much easier than before.
At this time, it is not known if the feature will be rolled out more widely in other regions, as it is technically still in the testing phase.
