With the goal of reducing the number of fatalities in its vehicles to zero, Honda has developed innovative safety technology. She uses artificial intelligence.
Is informed by RBK-Ukraine Auto with reference to Honda Press Service.
The first step was to use artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor both the road and the driver. To understand the root causes of driving errors, Honda used MRI scans to study the driver’s brain and analyze risky behavior.
This has led to the development of intelligent driver assistance technology that uses Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) sensors and cameras to monitor the road and the driver. This enables early detection of possible driving errors and offers the driver optimal driving behavior in real time.
In creating the next generation of ADAS, Honda will use 3D sound and seat vibration alarms to alert the driver to dangerous situations.
The company said that in the first half of the 2020s they will focus on developing the technology, and in the second half they will begin its practical implementation.
With Zero Traffic Collision Fatalities technology, it will be possible to reduce the number of human errors while driving by at least half, which represents 90 percent of traffic accidents.
Honda said the practical implementation of the technology will cut the number of deaths in traffic accidents involving the brand’s vehicles in half by 2030.
Remember that the company Honda tests autonomous truck with solar energy… Field tests were carried out in the USA.
