Police wound colleague in patrol car
Bielefeld (NRW) – Everyone has probably been annoyed by people who are constantly fiddling with their cell phones and making annoying noises. A policeman from Bielefeld completely freaked out in such a situation.
The man injured a colleague who just couldn’t put her cell phone down. The Ausraster could now have bad consequences. “Proceedings for bodily harm have been initiated,” confirms the Bielefeld police.
► The case is really strange. According to information from BILD, three policemen were traveling in a patrol car. An officer was sitting in the passenger seat, playing on her phone as she drove, increasingly annoying the driver.
Police crash into dashboard
Despite repeated pleas and requests to stop, she continued. Until the driver, an experienced policeman, lost his nerve.
Then this insidious act: he secretly unbuckled the seat belt buckle on the passenger seat, then immediately slammed on the brakes. The colleague was thrown out of the seat and hit her head on the dashboard. She is said to have suffered bruises and a minor concussion.
The case only came to the attention of the authorities through detours. The injured policewoman had not officially reported the matter, but she told several colleagues. Eventually, the superiors found out.
According to the police, the procedure is carried out at the Münster police headquarters for reasons of neutrality. The prosecutor’s office in Bielefeld will then decide whether to file charges.
The police officer has been transferred to the office. If he is found guilty, he could, in the worst case, be dismissed from the service and even lose his pension rights.
