Unlike Word documents and other text-based files, PDF files are not that easy to edit. However, you can set markups without any problem, either in the Edge browser or in a PDF reader.

Adobe Acrobat Reader has a free web version, so you don’t necessarily have to install a new program on your computer.

Quick Start Guide – Edge
- Open your PDF document in Edge by typing in your browser the right button of the mouse on it and then from the menu”To open with” and so “microsoft edge” to choose.
- In the Edge browser, click the icon of the Highlighter pen on top.
- You can then use the left mouse button to select your text.
- If you’re in the after arrow pointing down click next to the highlighter, you can use it color adjust.
- With the eraser to the right of the highlighter you can remove the marks again.
- When you’re done, click the buttonsave to computer” either “Save as” to save all changes.
Quick Start Guide: Adobe Acrobat
- Open the Adobe Acrobat online editor using the following link: https://www.adobe.com/de/acrobat/online/pdf-editor.html.
- On the web page, click “choose a file” to upload your PDF file from your computer.
- After your PDF opens, click the third icon on the left toolbar to select “frames” to select.
- Then mark your text with the left Mouse button.
- Towards color To change the highlighter, click on the color Circle in the toolbar on the left.
- Do you want labels again withdrawSelect the eraser tool on the color picker in the bar.
- When you’re done, click “Discharge” at the top right to save the PDF file to your computer.
