How does TousAntiCovid work? This so called contact tracker app it uses a phone’s Bluetooth signal to detect a nearby “smartphone” and anonymously establish that multiple people have crossed paths. The app considers contacts within 2 meters for at least five minutes. The other users with whom the patient has been in prolonged contact during their contagion period are thus notified by means of a notification. The contagion period begins from 48 hours before the date of onset of symptoms or seven days before their positive test if the person is asymptomatic. As of May 25, 16 million people had downloaded the app.
