Good Shepherd Entertainment has announced that Hard West 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the hit round-robin hit Hard West, is coming to PC on August 4 via Steam and GOG, priced at $24.99. Developed by Ice Code Games, Hard West 2 is set in a classic Western setting with a supernatural twist, where legends surround a legendary ghost train and the pot of gold it carries, according to today’s announcement.

The new trailer highlights some of the human and supernatural enemies you’ll face in the game. These include the Shadow Blackheart, whose curses you need to watch out for, as well as the Demon Hellspawn’s poisonous sputum, which can be used to pummel entire groups.

Hard West 2 Release Date Revealed

The game’s extensive, character-driven story, co-written by Origins Award winner and New York Times bestselling author Matt Forbeck (Deadlands), is complemented by the voice talents of Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series), Darien Sills-Evans (Days Gone, League of Legends) and Adam Gifford (The Colony, Batman: Hush) come to life. Added to this is the soundtrack by BAFTA award winner Jason Graves (Dead Space, Tomb Raider).
