Porsche Design is a lifestyle brand that aims to make the carmaker better known in other areas as well. There were, for example, Porsche Design soundbars or cooperations with smartphone manufacturers. Porsche Design has been cooperating with AOC for quite some time and this has already paid off. Now there is the latest result of the cooperation: the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M gaming monitor. The design is said to have been inspired by Porsche sports cars. For example, the display integrates design elements from the steering wheel and spokes of a sports car rim.
For the rest, it is a monitor with a 31.5-inch diagonal, IPS LCD panel, 144 Hz refresh rate, mini-LED backlight and certification for DisplayHDR 1400. According to the manufacturer, the response time is only 1 ms. However, all this has a cost: the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M costs 1,999 euros. It is now available at Porsche Design Stores, in specialist shops and online at www.porsche-design.com as well as in selected online stores.
The kit also includes a sandblasted aluminum stand, two 8-watt speakers with onboard DTS support, and indirect RGB lighting. The monitor is also height adjustable and can be rotated or vertically aligned. Covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color space. The backlight has 1,151 dimming zones. The maximum brightness is 1,400 nits.
The interfaces of the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M include DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1, as well as USB-C and four USB 3.2. External devices can be connected through the USB-C port. can be charged with up to 90 watts. The PD32M also features a KVM switch. In picture-by-picture mode
(UHD max 60Hz), the monitor displays content from two sources via DisplayPort, HDMI, or USB-C at the same time.
