EPCG said that in a working meeting with representatives of the renowned NGO sector in Pljevlja, the company’s new projects in the field of renewable energy (RES) were presented, the implementation of which should begin at the end of this or the first semester of next year.
“Our projects were presented to the NGO sector and it was stated that they are successfully completing preparations for the construction of the Gvozd wind farm on the Krnovo plateau and the Briska gora solar power plant on Ulcinj, while the completion of the concept project in November, ”the announcement states.
EPCG recalled that the Shareholders’ Meeting recently gave a “green light” for the construction of the Gvozd wind farm, while a preliminary cooperation was established with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in order to provide the necessary funds for the project. .
The signing of the contract, EPCG added, is expected in the next few days, while the project is due to start at the end of the year.
“There are current and completely safe projects for the construction of a pontoon, that is, a floating solar power plant on Lake Slano in Niksic, for the construction of which Danish companies, the Velje Brdo solar power plants, as well as the Solar 3000+ project, which includes the installation of solar panels on the roofs of individual buildings, worth around 30 million euros, ”said EPCG.
They added that EPCG is also actively working on a project that includes marking infertile land on which photovoltaic systems would be installed.
At the meeting, which was attended by representatives of the NGOs Green Home, Breznica, Eco team and the organization KOD, it was assessed that cooperation with this sector is of utmost importance, especially when it comes to organizations that focus on the protection of the environment.
