The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has confirmed the graduation of the first batch of students from the Escuela de Energía Nuclear Pacifica El Dabaa for the current academic year.
The idea of establishing the school arose to serve the peaceful uses of nuclear energy in various sectors of the state. It was established in 2017 to become a nucleus of graduate technical cadres capable of working in various fields for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. energy, that is why this school is of great importance for the Dabaa nuclear project.
The student obtains a five-year diploma in one of the technical specialties, which is “electricity – mechanics – electronics”. They are taught the basic technical concepts of nuclear reactors, their methods of operation, how to build them and trust them in the production of electrical energy, in addition to knowing the nuclear safety techniques and the fundamentals of electrical circuits in their various modalities, in addition to studying mechanical and electronic technology, noting that this is done with the support and training of the three nuclear bodies attached to the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy (Nuclear Power Plants Authority – Atomic Energy Authority – Nuclear Materials Authority). Specialized curricula in nuclear energy technology are also taught through a group of Experts specialized in nuclear bodies.
The duration of study in the school is 5 years, and the students study the normal subjects of physics, chemistry, Arabic language and a book on nuclear energy, to begin with, which came from the Nuclear Power Authority.
