Codemasters and Electronic Arts officially announce EA SPORTS F1 22, launching worldwide on Friday, July 1, 2022. In the most extensive remake in over ten years, players will battle it out for first place in the Formula One World Championship. 1 of the 2022 FIA in new hybrid cars, according to the associated press release.
A revised set of rules provides variety, making for a thrilling race weekend experience, now also including F1 speed racing. The even more competitive and unpredictable lineup will provide new challenges for players throughout the year, including the Miami International Autodrome circuit, specially designed for the 2022 Miami Grand Prix.
Another new addition and a deeper dive into the world of Formula 1 is F1 Life, a customizable hub where players can view their collection of supercars, clothing and accessories. These can be unlocked through gameplay, the Podium Pass, and the in-game Brand Store. Fans can already do that. Champions Edition pre-order, which offers early access (three days before launch) as well as a Miami-inspired content pack for a limited time.

Everything new in F1 2022: race day, modes, AI
Redefined Race Day gives players the opportunity to customize their setup with new options: pace car length, pit stop options, and different formation laps. There are two modes available for this: In “Immersive” mode, players face high-stakes challenges that can mean the difference between a podium finish or a place outside the points.
The “Broadcast” mode, on the other hand, allows for a more relaxed immersion in the game world, in which the endgame turns into action through controlled and authentic cutscenes. The new PC VR feature across the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, which puts you right in the cockpit, ensures the best F1 experience.
The new adaptive AI makes it possible for new and casual players to have exciting races despite being less experienced, as AI-controlled opponents adapt to their own skill level. Easy-to-use menu navigation and controls allow for quick entry into the action, even without in-depth racing knowledge. Revised workout programs offer more variety with new point systems and on-track displays. So fans can take every corner to perfection and then compete for all-important champion points.
F1 22 also brings familiar features with a new makeover, including My Team, which allows players to set their starting budget based on three entry points: Newcomer, Challenger and Leader. Real route updates for Australia, Spain, and Abu Dhabi have also been implemented to reflect the latest changes to the game. F1 22 also introduces the ten-year race, complete with a two-player option, and brings back multiplayer to make epic racing possible within the global racing community.
