The sequel to one of my favorite games quickly made its way into the list of the most anticipated titles of 2022. And rightly so, because Techland, despite a long silence, decided to make up for it and promised us an even bigger world. buildings and taller, mechanical and more attractive and last but not least, support and updates for a while.
This is important news for those who want to get the most out of a single player game. The first Dying LIght came out in 2016 and enjoyed some impressive post-launch attention, from the expansion, DLC, in-game events, and all sorts of other craziness to a free next-gen update for PS5 and Xbox Series XS owners.
Dying Light 2 raises great expectations
The Poles were quite responsible for keeping the first DL fresh, much to the delight of the fans. Therefore, the fact that Techland has decided to increase this support period for Dying Light 2 is a very wise decision. The developers have announced that the long-awaited game will continue to receive post-launch attention for 5 years. That means more news, meaning events, locations, stories, and in-game items to bring the post-apocalyptic world on our screens to life, despite the wandering deaths we have to contend with.
Very little separates us from the official release of Dying Light 2. The magic date is February 4, 2022 and I look forward to this news with all that it has to offer. The expectations are high, because we are talking about a title whose development took many years. Techland, if you still worked quietly, you would have at least worked meticulously and responsibly!
