IIT Madras has posted an announcement for admission to the BSc Programming and Data Science online course. Those who want to join this will need to qualify first on the qualification exam. Inter is open to all groups. Those who successfully complete the course can earn a degree from IIT Madras. And then you can climb to the top!
భTechnology is at the forefront of the issue. Programming, data science, and machine learning are expected to take the lead. Those who hold on to these can own the opportunities above. IIT Madras has designed a course that thinks in that direction. BSc has been offering programming and data science online since last year. However, it is mandatory to pass the qualifying exam before joining this course. After the Foundation, the Diploma and finally the BSc-Degree will be awarded to those who have passed all these stages.
Qualifying
To qualify for the qualifying exam, a minimum score of 4 entry-level courses in English, mathematics for data science, statistics for data science, and computational thinking is required for a period of four weeks. Two to three hours of video lessons are provided per week on each topic. Each course has assignments. These must be completed online within the stipulated time. Only those who qualify will be able to write the qualification test. General candidates must earn 40% grades, OBC 35%, SC, ST, and Divyangs 30% on assignments. The qualification test takes place over a period of 4 hours. Each course lasts one hour. Those who qualify will be admitted to the entry-level course. The number of courses to be taken in the first two terms is determined based on the score obtained in the classification exam. Those who have reached fifty percent will have the opportunity to join 2 courses, those who have achieved up to 70 will have the opportunity to join 3, and those who have achieved more than 70 will have the opportunity to join 4 courses. The number of courses completed in the next two periods is determined by the score obtained in the first two periods.

Recorded video lessons are released weekly. Each course is offered for ten hours a week. These videos include weekly assignments. These must be completed on time. Each course consists of 3 questionnaires. There will be partial exams at the end of the course. Each course has one assignment per week. Achieving the minimum score will allow you to take the test at the end of the term. It is also mandatory to qualify in at least one of the 3 questionnaires to write quarterly exams. Those joining the course must report for the quiz and quarterly exams in the city center of their choice. This course is offered in full English, you must have desktop or laptop computer, internet connection. Better to know Google tools. Each course has a discussion forum for candidates to clarify their doubts.
Who is eligible?
పYou must have read Dilo Maths, English. Must have completed an Inter level course or equivalent. Those who have read the three-year diploma are eligible. Those who have completed two-year vocational courses, inter or equivalent courses through the Open School are eligible. Those who are currently taking final year courses can also apply. By the time the Foundation course begins, one should have joined an undergraduate course. Those who are currently enrolled in the degree, those who have finished and those who have dropped out in the middle, can join.
Regular Entry Application Fee: Rs. 3000 / – is available for SC, ST and Divyangs.
