The Cubs have a flexible roster and they stretched that strategy even further than any one could have predicted on Wednesday.
In the course of Wednesday’s intrasquad activity, Cubs assistant clubhouse supervisor Danny Mueller was not only in uniform but playing left field for the house group, subbing in for protection. He even experienced two colleagues heckling him with a “Adhere to your day work” cardboard indicator.

However, Mueller did not have anything strike his way, as opposed to Dodgers clubhouse attendant Francisco “Chico” Herrera, who has been enjoying left in Los Angeles’ intrasquad online games. Last 7 days, he showed off his glove and cannon during a video game.
