Hardware manufacturer Corsair has unveiled a new laptop, the Voyager a1600, which is explicitly aimed at gamers and streamers. Equipped with a high-end CPU and GPU, it acts as a mobile powerhouse that wants to easily load current AAA titles at maximum graphics settings.
Anyone who travels a lot and does not want to do without the highest quality games will sooner or later need a dedicated gaming laptop. With the Voyager a1600, Corsair now has such a calculator in its range, which is said to combine a high degree of mobility with top-end hardware.
High-end performance in a compact body
The Corsair Voyager a1600 comes with a particularly flat case (19.8mm) and a 16-inch QHD screen that can display a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels at a frame rate of 240 Hertz, including AMD Freesync. An AMD Radeon RX 6800 M graphics card and an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS with up to 8 cores and 16 threads and 4.8 GHz complete the powerful overall package.
Corsair has installed a compact cooling system that includes a vapor chamber so that the laptop doesn’t get bogged down in max detail games and hardware-intensive applications like OBS Studio and Adobe After Effects or when streaming, despite having a hardware powerful. The latter saves a lot of space in the case with the same cooling performance compared to conventional cooling.
In addition, the Voyager a1600 has the following features:

Corsair offers the Voyager a1600 with a Ryzen 9 6800H CPU for $2,699. The Ryzen 9 6900H CPU variant is priced at $2,999. A date for the start of sales of the new laptop has not yet been set. However, we assume that interested customers will not have to wait much longer.
