The BlizzCon 2021 schedule is here to give us a better idea of what Blizzard will actually present during the event. As previously announced, Day One will give us plenty of time with the studio’s upcoming PC games, including the next long-awaited entries on Diablo and Overwatch Breeds. But when it comes to new things, it seems like the focus won’t be on Overwatch 2.
The opening ceremony begins on February 19 at 2:00 pm PST / 5:00 pm EST / 10:00 pm GMT and is expected to last one hour and ten minutes. Join us in launching BlizzConline and discover the latest news from Blizzard Entertainment, The company says the schedule. “There are no spoilers here, so you’ll want to see it live!”
Immediately after it opens, BlizzCon will be split into six separate streams: a main show with highlights and reruns, and five more World of Warcraft-focused streams. Hearthstone, Diablo, Overwatch and “Strategy”. Yes, StarCraft does not have its own name here, although there is a long exposure with StarCraft professionals.
World of Warcraft will feature the “What Next” and “Deep Dive” panel, showing highlights of upcoming content and a deeper exploration of what’s coming with the developers. What Next looms large in the timeline, and since it’s too early to reveal a new expansion in the proper WoW, I hope it is still alive for the Burning Crusade reveal for Classic WoW.
Diablo also hosts the What Next, Deep Dive and Developer roundtable on Day 1, by far the largest batch of development-focused streams on time. I expect a lot of information on Diablo 4 (fingers crossed for the Diablo 4 release date), although I don’t even dare to wait for a Diablo 2 remake to come out.
Oddly enough, Overwatch 2 doesn’t get the What Next or Deep Dive treatment; instead we just get the behind-the-scenes of Overwatch 2. On day two, all the other highlights: WoW, Hearthstone, and Diablo. get a session. test The developers have answers, but Overwatch doesn’t. Blizzard has already hinted that Overwatch 2’s release date is still a long way off, and it seems that while we will definitely get Overwatch 2 crumbs at BlizzCon, there won’t be much focus on the show.
We’ll know for sure when the BlizzCon 2021 dates roll out from February 19-20.
