Black Panther series centered on the Kingdom of Wakanda is under development Disney plus, Disney announced on Monday. The series is developed by Black Panther co-author and director Ryan Coogler. Ryan Coogler is also currently working on a sequel to the movie. Black Panther 2.. Cougler’s company, Proximity Media, has signed a five-year television contract with Disney.
In a statement, Disney CEO Bob Eiger said, “With Black Panther, Ryan brings groundbreaking stories and iconic characters to life in a realistic, meaningful and memorable way, in the watershed. Mr. Cougler said his company is also working on the “All Great Studios under Disney” television series.
