Don’t worry about the impeachment trial — President Biden spent the weekend playing video games with his granddaughter at Camp David, the president’s hideout in the Maryland Mountains.

“The Secret Service made an exception and allowed him to drive on his own,” she posted and linked to their short video playing a video game. “A little rusty, but he still (barely) won.”
The White House said Biden and his family had spent the first weekend at Camp David since he entered the White House in January.
The president has no plans other than meeting with the national security team.
After Air Force One landed in Hagerstown, Maryland, he arrived there in a convoy on Friday afternoon.
White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Biden would monitor “parts” of the trial, despite the blame trial of his predecessor, President Donald Trump, continued on Saturday. He said it would be up to the Senate to decide.
Trump was acquitted with 57-43 votes.
The Biden administration was also involved in Saturday’s scandal as another spokesman, TJ Ducklo, resigned for threatening a reporter planning to write about his relationship with another journalist.
A tightly guarded resort in the mountains has allowed the president, dating back to Dwight Eisenhower, to escape the glare of the spotlight.
