120mm fan with ATGB lighting
With the TUF Gaming TF120, Asus has introduced a new 120mm fan with ARGB lighting, which is said to be suitable for use in the case and in connection with radiators.
With the TUF Gaming TF120 Asus has released a new 120mm fan that is said to run very quietly with a noise level of around 29 dB(A). To achieve this value, this fan requires a fluid dynamic bearing to use. Compared to conventional plain bearings, not only is the noise level significantly lower, but with an airflow of 76 CFM, higher performance is also achieved. According to the manufacturer, the operating time is up to 250,000 hours.
The fan is connected via 4-pin PWM connector. This allows the speed to be individually adjusted in a range from 250 to 1900 rpm. Additionally, the fan can be set to run at a particularly low speed at low system temperatures. anti-vibration pads it must also guarantee a reduced transmission of vibrations.
Of course, the TUF Gaming TF120s feature customizable ARGB lighting. Asus installs a total of 16LEDs, which are arranged in two layers. As a result, the manufacturer promises a deeper color saturation. The light kit can be controlled via motherboard software or via an ARGB hub. Asus already provides a corresponding device in a pack of three. This is currently priced at just under 50 euros available. A single TF120 costs around 16 euros.
