System requirements for Hogwarts Legacy have been posted on Steam. Surprisingly, there is sometimes a very small difference between the minimum and recommended requirements.
Hogwarts Legacy is a new action role-playing game set in the Harry Potter universe. In order to get into the open world for the February launch, players must have at least half of their hardware up to date – the system requirements for the game were recently posted on Steam.
Small difference
The minimum requirements are at one for moderns. games usual range. Specifically, developers require an Intel Core i5-8400 or an AMD Ryzen 5 2600. This requires at least 8 GB of RAM and a DirectX 12 compatible graphics cards speech. Avalanche Software names the lower limit for the pixel accelerators used a Geforce GTX 1070 or a Radeon RX Vega 56. This should allow gamers to play Hogwarts Legacy in 1080p with low details and 60fps. If you have weaker hardware, you can probably still play games without high frame rates.
On the other hand, if you have a little more power, you can do Hogwarts LegacyRyzen 5 3600 as well as one Geforce GTX 1080 Ti or one Radeon RX 5700 XT. The memory requirement also remains the same at 85 GB, but Avalanche Software requires the use of an SSD for high graphics details. The minimum requirements, on the other hand, also mention HDD support.
probably play directly in high details: Avalanche Software mentions 16 GB of RAM, a Core i7-8700 or a Core i7-8700, as part of the recommended system requirementsAlso interesting: Hogwarts Legacy: €300 Collectors Edition includes floating wand
Assuming perfect resolution scaling, Hogwarts Legacy could only be tweaked for UHD gamers: There’s still no graphics card that’s four times faster than a GTX 1080 Ti. By the time the game launches, both AMD and Nvidia will have new top-of-the-line GPU models, and in an emergency you can of course use a reduced anti-aliasing or scaling algorithm. How much that brings in the end, we’ll probably find out in February.
