The second season of Arcane is approaching. For fans of Riot Games’ beloved League of Legends game franchise and Netflix’s animated television adaptation, the company has promised relatively short production times.
Since its debut on November 6, Netflix subscribers have watched a total of 102.25 million hours of Arcane season 1. The unexpected success saw Arcane beat Cowboy Bebop and Tiger King in season 2, two Netflix heavyweights who took first place on Netflix’s charts for the most-watched TV series as of mid-November.
Arcane Season 2 Release Date
There is no official release date for Arcane season 2 yet. However, we know it will come after the show’s return was announced after the end of season 1: “Brace yourselves, folks. The second season of Arcane is already in production. Where’s a Hexgate when you need it? ”.
The teaser reveals nothing, other than revealing that season 2 is in production and that three characters from season 1 will be returning. However, we are delighted that Arcane has a second release. He definitely deserves one, and if his final episode is anything to go through, there are a lot of plot threads that need to be picked up (or fixed) in Arcane season 2.
But when will it return to Netflix? Right now, it’s hard to tell because we don’t know where season two is. But don’t expect it to arrive in 2022, according to Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent, who tweeted that the next installment in the series won’t be ready for next year:
“Yes, we are working on Season 2 of Arcane. The good news: you won’t have to wait 6 years (the time it took to make Season 1) The bad news: it won’t come in 2022. “
