Some days ago We learned that the future flagship processor MediaTek would have passed the 1 million point barrier in AnTuTu in an officially unconfirmed test. Meanwhile, the processor has been launched directly MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and we are waiting for the first smartphone with it on board to confirm / deny the information.
It appears that the future flagship processor from Qualcomm would have scored more than 1 million points in AnTuTu, also in a test not confirmed by AnTuTu. Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (this will be the commercial name of the processor) scored 1,035,020 points, slightly more than the 1,002,220 points previously obtained by MediaTek.
Compared to the current generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and 888 Plus without exceeding 870,000 – 880,000 points, the future processor seems to bring 15-20% additional power.
And in the case of Qualcomm we have a little more wait to confirm / deny the information, the first devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 on board will be launched early next year. In the short waiting list we have Xiaomi Mi 12, Motorola Moto Edge 30 Ultra or OnePlus 10 Pro.
